I ordered one this afternoon and almost immediately got a phone call saying that it was a mistake and there was just no way they could honor that price.

..it all depends on where the welded supports are. The Spoon brace, for example, has them right where the oil needs to flow when changing the oil. Neuspeed, Comptech and others have their supports in the opposite "x" of the brace.

I have comptech x brace, very light weight. It is chromoly. But oil change is alittle messy because it is close to the oil drain bolt, the trade off it has the highest ground clearance of most x braces on the market. I wonder if it has enough clearance for the pwjdm carbon underpanel.

I'd like a few people with more than one brace to post up pictures of them fitted.

I'd like the brace that goes over the front struts at the top, yet crosses down to the lower front subframe by asm, but i don't know if it'll clear the mase turbo kit.

I'd also like the brace that goes on the rear subframe that links to, i think, the back of the rear diff, but again, next to no-one appears to have it fitted.

Anyone?

On the subject of the lower x brace by spoon, i'd have thought the one sold by muz was better from an oil change pov but not necessarily strength.
The rear brace you're talking about is made by Beatrush. I've had their stuff on other cars before, it's top of the line.

i've just had a look at the brand you suggested which is what i originally wanted, but i've since seen one that has similar bracing mount points but 'crosses' under the rear diff and is finished in polished ally - i think it's made by asm but can't find a place to buy it
