I got a reply back as well stating the same thing. I've responded, and will see what they say, but basically I informed then that it should be noted on the site the other mods on the car during the dyno. Since a car with those mods will get the same numbers even without the cams, and even without a tune. My old car was at those numbers(even over) with just bolt ons and no tune. Except my torque numbers were around the 170wtq peak

Anyway they were under the impression that I wanted free cams from them!?!? I would take them if they offered it, but I emailed back stating our intentions are merely to get a true test done on a completely stock car. Hopefully I get a good response back.

Remember the dyno you run on makes a difference as well. I dyno'd 258whp on a dynapack which is retarded!

I'm going to reply with the above message.

I know it does. (mine was a dynojet ). I would have been higher if on a dynopack. Stock my dynopack numbers were 240hp, and 170tq

Oh and i did ask whether there car was an ap1 or ap2 and they said it was an ap2.

If it was AP2 it just completely proves the cams are worthless.

I gave him a proposal worthy of much more then trying to drum up a dyno day. We'll see if he bites.

The problem is that we can't really set up a test unless they either give the test car free cams/valve/retainer, or the test car owner has to buy all these because they are all needed. However that's a big risk if it fails unless they do give the parts t quiet the nay sayers. Honestly if a company is really so confident then this shouldn't be an issue since the "good" results will generate many sales.
