Has there been any documented gains using an AP2 ex cam on an AP1 head?

Search in R&C for Krazik. You'll find some data on both cams in an AP2.

Thanks Balance, I've read that thread and it seems to be mainly AP1 intake cam on the AP2 motor.

Are there any cheaper gains to be had with an oem cam swap or cam gears in an AP1 motor?

I'm not to the point of investing $xxxx's in hytech cams and cam gears

So the definitive info thus far is no aftermarket cams make power except under forced induction?

Seems to me it may be more about pairing up the right intake/header/exhaust with cams in order to see gains.

Kinda odd how the motor is just so tapped out stock.

well, how long have these cams been out, and here we are in 2008 and the general response is none of them are worth a damn?
