Any thoughts on custom 70mm exhausts? I was thinking 70mm tubing with a Magnaflow race series 5 x 8 resonator and HKS power/ tanabe medallion muffler. Anyone ever done anything like this?

Are stock AP1 and AP2 exhausts the same except the tips? Weight, piping, flow?

i don't think so. i haven't looked to see other parts but i know the helmholtz resonator is different.

I had both on my old 04 S. Of course started with the stock one, and then got an ap1 stock exhaust when I sold the single and was going back to stock. Everything was the same except for the tips. Even the hangers aligned perfect. The only difference there is are the tips, and different hanger rubbers(or whatever they're called) are used on the ap1.

They are different.

Part number on the ap1 is 204500, ap2 is 4884094
taken from majestic honda!

Those aren't part numbers, those are majestic stock numbers.
