i will post a review on the mugen replica intake in a few short weeks or whenever the weather is warmer. vids and pics will be included. but let it be known that this intake sounds awesome in person and it smoothens out with the exhaust sound that comes out of my greddy ti-c. . i'm sure vids won't do it justice which is usually the case.

Some of the cooling plates have the cut out, but others have a air guide that is used with an intake.... I had both set ups at one time. I was running the K&N FIPK with a carbon fiber cooling plate that directed air toward the intake.. I took that out and ran the stock gutted oem box with a snorkle. I did like both set ups, but ended up taking the intake out. I just feel its still sucking hot air in. Im gonna get a heat shield that bolts onto the engine this summer to reduce to heat and possibly put the intake back in after my exhaust goes on. I was see the difference in the stock box with the snorkle and the exhaust and the intake with the exhaust.

That is crazy how you keep accelerating but remain the same speed. Btw how fast is lol speed. Lol. But idk all intake videos sound the same. But in real life they are very different from one another. It is hard to capture the true sound of an intake.

or an exhaust.

near the end of the clip i punched it from 4th gear to about the end of 5th gear. so you could kinda guess how fast i was going. lol

i have it! I really like it, def not as loud as the prm intake I used to have but, it feels like it doesn't bog a lower rpm like the prm (or maybe its the placebo affect). Fitment for me was bad and took awhile to figure out the cause of the rattle/brap sound.
what causes the rattle/brap noise. i have yet to install it cause i gotta drop the motor in first

it can be caused by loose bolts or sometbimg unclipped. When i dont clip in all my clips on a oem box it rattles loud at bout6k rpms
