According to those that were there it went very well. Every intake made power over stock, however, they aren't releasing any info right now and are saying we may have to wait for the magazine issues to come out to find out the results. I may be able to get the info out of them though, and am trying to do so....

Did they test a comptech intake? I didn't see it on the original list.

There were some issues during the dyno day apparently regarding wind changes causing problems(the dyno was outside!). I'm hoping the results will be worth noting, but if not then there is another one coming up in which I will be present .

Oh also the list of intakes was not that high, but the one I will be at will include almost every kind of system.

We're able to gather more and more info every day...this thread should soon become the best source of advice on all intake systems.

They tested:
PWJDM
ASM
Mugen
K&N
AEM V2
Fujita
OEM w/PWJDM Snorkel
OEM

The list is smaller because this is a different event then the one I had originally mentioned. The original one will be held on another day...that one will include testing for:
PWJDM
ASM
Mugen
Js Racing
AEM V2
Injen
K&N
possible comptech if they can find one in time
Spoon snorkel
K&N drop in filter

Im planning on gutting my stock airbox soon it is the most sensible intake upgrade for me at the moment because I plan on going the ITB route once I have the extra cash thanks for the pic

I already have a K&N dropin I got from a friend on these boards used for pretty cheap

Good choice. If you're going ITBs down the road then save your pennies...

Also if your gutting the airbox then I'd go ahead and remove the L shaped piece on the top piece also.

Just installed my E-Auto Mugen replica a few days ago. Very happy with it!! The sound is very nice, and I've noticed much better throttle response down low.
