Default 06+ ap2 engine into ap1

ok ive tried searching and have come up with minimal answers.

what is everything you have to change out in order to put an 06+ ap2 engine w/dbw into a 2002?

is there anyone out there that has done this before? to clarify i dont mean just a ap2 in a ap1 and running a ap1 ecu.

cool. i was just curious. that does seem like a hell of a lot of work. i knew it would be but i didnt know i would have to change things like the steering rack and abs. haha ok thats out of the question.

how can i use a 04/05 ecu in my02? whats is it when people say take it to the dealer and get it reflashed? i dont get that.

still evaluating every angle for my 2002 with an empty engine bay.

haha thanks

yes the engine bay is empty now on thee account that the motor that was in it when i bought the car was previously turbo and fried the rings and seals forcing me to rebuild or purchase another motor.

trying to exhaust all my options before i decide on what to do. rebuild the ap1 motor that was in the car originally in the car or buy a longblock (ap1 or ap2)

not on the biggest budget and i would like to drive my car this summer coming up. havent driven the car since May and i bought it last December.

so if i buy an ap2 motor and get an 04/05 ecu with the ignition cylinder, key, and harness then what do i do?

sorry for the noob question. all ive done in the past was build fwd civic's. ive never had to mess with any immobilizers.

you can swap the imobiliizer board from your stock ecu to the new ecu, you dont need the key and all that crap.

all you need to swap to use an 06+ motor with the 04-05 ecu is the intake manifold/tb.

also the coolant temp sensor in the intake manifold is different from 06+ to pre-dbw.

the injectors are "different" but you can make the 06 injectors work in the early intake manifold.
