I need some pistons compatible with an ally liner, so they would need to have chrome ring packing as I understand it.

Some of the manufacturers cant actually confirm to me what materials they use which is a bit odd, and it's too risky to gamble as anything too hard will pick up straight away.

Any advice appreciated!

 

The fact that you are after 89mm seems to limit your choice as well. Have you tried contacting CP direct?
