How so? Adding horsepower NA is silly in an s2000. If you are talking about keeping full interior and so on, of course the times will not be up to the (crazy) standards you have. These cars werent made for drag racing. A good rule of thumb I have been told is 100 horsepower for every second

I just realized we had gone a really long time without a thread like this.

I *almost* forgot people drag raced this car. Almost.

300whp on an Allmotor S2k is more or less unheard of. and even still you wouldn't run an 11 flat on your best day not to mention the cost of such a thing. You could pickup a used F/I kit for 3 grand and make 100 more hp.

Power to ya for trying! But there are many reasons people tend not to want to try.

Putting a V8 in an S is blasphemy. Why on earth someone would bastardize an s2k is beyond me but to each his own. But then again seeing a 350 in a mustang drives me crazzy too lol. All our stage 1 turbo kits safely make 500hp to the tire on stock f20/22s and can be pushed up to 700hp if the customer desires. Build the engine and 1000hp+. The fastest s2ks run honda engines not V8s or 2jz. Sounds to me like its time for an 11 or even 10sec 1/4 mile allmotor s2k. Should make for one hell of a fun swisty car too ;^}

So what had you go with the K swap? To me it seems like a lot of time and money to only make like 20 hp more...

The fastest s2000's are powered by the f20/f22 because people are obsessive (in a good and bad way) about using the motor the s2000 came with. The fastest s2000 though was a 2JZ swap, until the one race shop built the high hp F22 powered car that beat it.

By the way, 300whp in this 4 cylinder motor NA is crazy. Is it impossible? Nah, if you want to spend 10's of thousands of dollars, you can make it happen.

We are shooting for 320 to 350 hp using k series motor with not spending 10s of thousands of dollars. It is going together and only time will tell

Crank horsepower or wheel horsepower? Im doubtful of 350 wheel horsepower in a k series motor...
