I've had the PLM for a while now. Before supercharger and after. Currently 330whp/220tq with the PLM, BERK 70mmHFC, Invidia q300 v4 dual @ 7psi. So I think I'm happy with that number; so PLM must have done something...

Honestly, I'm not impressed with the coating. I started it up for the first time and was like WTF, it shouldn't be getting this hot. I had a cheap OBX coated header on my H22 that did a better job with heat(but not power).

Other than the coating, I'm not disappointed but at the same time I'm not happy with the header(right now). I think the real gains will come when I put my AEM EMS in. It does sound great with my exhaust set-up though.

The black coating is to make it hotter on purpose, I believe. Black attracts heat. The hotter the exhaust gases the faster they move. If a SS version could be had for around $400, I'd pick it up.

if this is true then you could heat wrap the header to keep temps down under the hood and high inside the runners creating the best possible condition, correct?

Wouldn't you want to keep the heat inside the header, not attract it to the piping (and thus outside the header)?

Do you have Flashpro? If so, it doesn't matter.
