Default F27

I'll be putting together an NA build and i'm torn on what to do. I have a low compression F24(inlinePRO) and I'm wondering if i should take the plunge into a 2.7? or just raise compression on this 2.4? I wanted to see if there's anyone out there running this kit with some data they'd be willing to share! I'm also interested in a numbers estimate on my current set up before i start taking things apart. What can i expect from a decent all motor build? Mods so far are as follows

Built InlinePRO 2.4 stroker kit
InlinePRO intake manifold
FullBlown 74mm throttle body
Custom intake
Toda racing headers
AEM 2
I have a fullblown fuel system which i may use parts of or just do something simple

Any suggestions/ideas?

Well first what type of fuel you looking to run? 92-93 pump, race gas 110 plus, E85. That will determin your max comp to run usually 12.5:1 pump is good and higher from there for 110 or E85. As far as fuel systems go all you need is stock with a walbro 255 or similar and a max of 600cc injectors once again based off your fuel choice. As for power with your current setup say 12.5:1 comp pump gas on a dynojet you should do between 250-270whp with the 2.4L alot of dif factors.
As far as the 2.7L goes theres alot of mixed reviews with people saying it may not be reliable do to piston speeds and such but that being said there are a couple guys running it with great results one with nerly 30,000 miles of it both of the two ive seen one puts 285whp plus and the other a bit over 300whp. If i where you, sense you have it i would stick with the 2.4 if its sleeved bore it to 89mm have cp make you some pistons at 12.5:1 comp or higher if say E85 available get some Either stg 2 bc cams or stg 3 or have endyne custom grind you some mabe some minor head work at rlz or endyne and once again depending on diferent things you should being looking at making 270whp plus, numbers are really hard to guess there are so many factors.

i dont have any experience in the strokers kits, but if it were me i would keep it 2.4 , new pistons and cams. i have the stage 2 bc cams and they feel better than oem thats for sure. the only reason i didnt want to go withthe stage 3's is the "chance" of having to modify the rocker assembly even though someone WADZi has them on his car without modding it. he says its VERY close.

Yeah that would be great! I'm going to run 13:1on the complete IP 2.4 kit w/ CP pistons. I'll be using my inlinePRO intake manifold, FullBlown 74mm throttle body w/ custom intake, ID1000s on AEM series 2. I'm not sure what header or exhaust yet and i'll probably just leave in my twin disk and R200 diff. I'm hoping for 270-300, but more would be awesomee!

Yeah, I'll definitely be running pump gas as I have never had problems with it either. What are your motor specs? I'm interested to know if i stand to make substantial gains from my aftermarket intake manifold, throttle body, etc. on an all motor setup.

go as big as you can go 106mm stroke 89 mm bore get that compression as high as possible maybe 14 or 15:1 compression pistons run e85 or race gas +2mm oversize valves the most radical cams you can find and maybe 150 shot of nitrous and break 500 hp call it a day then.

your gains for you intake manifold and throttle body arent going to be tremendous maybe 10-20. you may possible see as high as 30 or 40 hp depending how crazy your bottom end and head is built if you went with the motor specs listed above.
