ok guys heres the ? i just got my s2 and have had rwd cars be for but i have never done a light weight flywheel or a diff in 1. i know what each can do for the car by itself but im not shore if doing both will help or hert this car. i just want to know if any 1 has done both at the same time and had good or bad results.

a lighter flywheel is unnecessary for AP1's if you're looking to go faster.
stock flywheel is 14lbs, as aftermartket ones are 8-12lbs.
note: ap2 flywheels are ALOT heavier, 24ish lbs if i remember correctly.

To add to the other part, a lot of people like 4.77s. Once you go FI they are harder to manage, but for NA and even mild supercharged/greddy turbo setups.
The only way I would add a lighter flywheel to an AP1 is if I was replacing the clutch and got a good deal on the flywheel. Otherwise, save the change for the gears.

I had 4.77's on my AP1, and really enjoyed them around town. However, if you plan to do any autocrossing or track events or spend much time on the highway, then you should stick with stock gears. Honda did a really good job picking a "good for everything" ratio. I agree wiht those above about it being a bit of a waste to get a light flywheel on an AP1.
Regarding your question about the 2 mods together, I think they would compliment each other. The light flywheel can make the car easier to stall, but the 4.77 gears makes it harder to stall.
