If I did nothing to the motor, it would last all season.
Normally I take them apart to try new things so while it is apart, I but rod bearings and rings in it, but it isn't necessary.
It could go all season with maybe one rod bearing change.

That's awesome!!! When we first built my motor, people were saying it will never last and the rod to stroke ratio was wrong and piston speeds were too much.....I just hit about 40k after this last dragon run...long live the 2.7!!!
Last year at Honda Day I stared at this motor for about 15-20 mins, Asking Wayne all kinds of questions. It is a beauty. 4130 and RSTech are both Great companies that stand behind and support their customers and fellow racers. I wish you the best of luck this season!!!
