Default Inline Pro 434hp 2.7L

Thought I would give everyone an update on how we are making out with the engine development.

As some may know, I run a naturally aspirated F20c in FWD form, in the All Motor class at events throughout the Northeast.
Last year we ended with a best ET of 9.71 @ 140mph .

This winter, Jeremy Allen at Inline Pro and I have been working very hard to make more power as well as move the powerband where we want.
We see RPMs in excess of 10,000 every shift, so making our power peak later and carry further was top priority.

I am happy to say that we accomplished what we wanted to.

The 434hp graph below represents HP peaking at 9800rpm and carrying until 10200 before beginning to slowly trail off.
This is a huge feat in and of itself due to the 106mm stroke and 2.7L displacement. Especially when most of the 2.7L K series that we face off against peak much lower.

Our next goal is to make the power carry as close to 11,000rpm as possible.

Have to thank Inline Pro, Rstech Racing, Myers Competition and CP/Carrillo for helping us acheive this.

Specs:

Inline Pro Sleeved 90mm block
Inline Pro Billet 106mm crankshaft
Carrillo Lightweight Rods
CP CNC pistons w/Calico coatings
ACL Race bearings
Inline Pro CNC Cylinder head
Inline Pro Stage twin lobe cams
Supertech valvetrain
Myers Competition race header
Kinsler 67mm ITBs
FTW Red Fuel

Incredible. The S2000 head has more potential than the K series.
K series dominates Drag racing due to more cost effective parts (competition and volume) and easier cam dial in due to iVtec.

If someone can crack the code, the S2000 can and will make more power.

Congrats inlinePro

Wow that’s impressive! Quite the peaky stroker, kind fo an oxymoron lol, so no small feat indeed. This would be great fun on the street, however id have to think longevity is one of the sacrifices in an engine such as this.
