Kpro - Stock

Kpro - Stock
I'm just on the verge of buying the Kpro and just had a quick question for you N/A guys.
I'll be buying the system for use when I eventually go boosted but in the meantime i'd like to use it stock.
Does the tune for the 06 work on the 00-05 kpro?
how well is the 'stock' tune in terms of smoothness etc?
Do anyone have a great tune that they'd like to share
Much thanks!

assuming you have a my00 ap1, the kpro progamming software (Kmanager) comes with a dyno tune for an ap1 w/cai. this tune will be very close and you can tweek the a/f further for you car's mods..
there is no tune included for 04-05 and there are three tunes included for 06+ models (a toda header tune - same as the reflash, 650cc injector tune and a stock tune - same as the reflash)...

I'd like to know what K-PRO can do on a BONE STOCK '04-05 S2000. I'm saving up for one regardless but I'd be nice to know what k-pro can do on an otherwise stock vehicle.
you can change some cool stuff but your gains with be min.
- lower the vtec and retune the a/f to pick up some decent mid-range, see hondata's '06+ stock reflash dyno- they make 10-16hp over range of 400rpms..
- push the rev up ~8.6k and retune a/f up top - hondata got nothing doing this with '06 after hours of dyno tuning
- can run a dry kit safety by tuning a/f and having very very good automatic control
- simulate cat readiness code for smog test
for the early ap1 with super rich a/f you may benefit from a leaner tune.

Also, for the ap2 guys, you never have to worry about shifting out of vtec again.. With a good header, the vtec will normally end up ~5k rpm.
