nope, all of inline pros builds that I know of require the block to be re-sleeved.

today i open my motor and my stok crankshaft + rods are damage and i need to replace, so i'm think to put a stroker kit.
what stroker kit do you think is beter - J's Racing 2.2L stroker kit or Spoon 2.2L stroker kit?

inline pro 2.5 ftmfw. better yet it may be cheaper for you to just buy a used 2.2 off ebay or craigslist. unless you plan to do the engine yourself
I just feel that you may get in over your head if you try to do the stroker yourself. I found this F22 on ebay for 5K with transmission i think this would be better for you. think you would be spending 2500 or more on the stroker then having someone install with resleeving that alone would run you almost over 5K. now if you get this motor and transmission for 5k you would be making a better choice. you get the 2.2L and you get the better AP2 transmission.

I thought the bottem end couldnt handle the piston speeds AP1 over 9200 and AP2 over 8600? Err well atleast not for long. Everything I read about raising the rev limiter is people say the wrist pins will give out.

The whole rev out to 10k with 4.77s is such a great plan i keep thinking about it myself. It would be like a whole new car. So what would I have to do in order to rev that high? I have a bare ap2 block that i was planning on building into a nice 2.4stroker but maybe now not? Could I achieve 9k+ on such higher displacement? or maybe 10k on a 2.2L?

+1 on the BC cams also why are you choosing JE. j's racing piston should work on a stock engine and they raise compression slightly more
j's piston is made by Spoon which is an JDM OEM piston.

There is a topic in the JDM forum where someone made a 2.4L with aftermarket pistons and stock sleeves, I am not sure 100%.

the member login, I think, is carrera4S

How did they engineer the 2.5L stroker to keep piston speeds from getting too fast to rev to 9krpm?
