NGK Iridium IX BKR8EIX 2668 - power down?
My cars pretty much stock except for VAFC and testpipe.. I put NGK Iridium IX BKR8EIX 2668 plugs in the one step colder ones..
butt dyno says its down on power a bit..
Seems to stumble at low RPM's a bit too?
Do I need to get my AFR's adjusted or did I put the wrong plug in or am I just imagining it?

With your setup, the BKR7EIX iridium IX plug would be optimum. I wouldn't go over that.
There is not much point using a colder plug unless there is substantial modifications to require it.

you have some other issue.. thats the plug that i use in alot of cars with no issues at all.
make sure they are tight enough. with the gasket seat you need to tighten the plug, then loosen it, then re tighten. they should be tightened to around 18-20ft/lbs

The car should run fine with the 8 heat range, as long as you don't live in a very cold climate and make really short drives that don't allow the car to reach normal operating temperature. The BKR8EIX come pre-gapped to .032", which is 25% below spec (.040" - .044"). Did you regap them to .040"?

I pulled the plugs out and they were white, does that mean I was too lean or just because they are new?
The gaps around 0.30 something #4 was oily.. probly from blowby at the track she was smoking pretty bad.. I changed the PCV to try and solve that one

ok I changed plugs and I'm happy with it now will get it on a real dyno soon
might just have been the warm day and the oil blowby making it seem a bit sluggish
