Default noob question

i have a full toda exhaust headers back, k&n intake. will it be more better to tune with a vafc2 or a AEM ? my friend recently tuned his vafc2 and got 135kw. although im thinking if i tune AEM it will cost more then the VAFC2 but is it really worth paying 650 for a tune. or can i make more power from a standalone.

you can almost always make more power from a standalone but it may not be cost effective for you, usually with exhaust and intake most people will call it overkill. So most people on the forum will tell you to use vafc2 or e-mange.

i'd say go for aem

If you just want to go faster in a straight line get the VAFC. The WOT tune is going to be pretty similar although certainly the AEM will make more power even at WOT. The VFAC fails at part throttle tune though so if you anticipate any track time or canyon runs then AEM.

im still thinking wether its worth to tune my car for 650. or to tune my vafc2 for only 150. as i do want the car to run at its best for the i/h/e so do you reckon i will gain more power with the standalone?
