Default Is it normal for me to pop flames

I drive a 02 S2000 with intake, 70mm test pipe and Greddy TIC single. My friends driving behind me say I sometimes pop a small blue flame when I let off gas at high RPM. Its pretty cool but im wondering if its a bad thing.
Also my 02 sensor is spaced out with a 90 deg elbow spacer and its facing towards the front of the car. Im wondering if twisting it so it faces the rear will change anything.

With those mods i dont think its possible.

Maybe your friends are seeing the blue from you exhaust tip?

One of my friends claims to have seen the same thing. I redlined 1st, 2nd, and third as he was driving behind me one night. He said when I shifted between 2nd and 3rd at red line that he saw a small "fire ball" in my exhaust. I have intake, header and exhaust with OEM cat installed.

Perhaps it's unburnt fuel?

Ap1 run rich. It could be possible with a test pipe that unburnt fuel is igniting between high rpm shifts.

MY00 noticeably run richer than other years. Honda made adjustment for the following MYs.

With those mods he's leaning out the A/F.

Ive had this exhaust on for a while and ive had 3 separate friends on separate occasions tell me this. They say its blue and barely exits the muffler
Now I want to put a gopro on the bumper and see for myself.

You would hear a pop sound if it actually was spitting flames
