Default Opinion on Js Racing Tsuchinoko Intake

What’s the opinion on J’s Tsuchinoko intake? Looking for an snorkel like intake(not with stock airbox). Been looking at the Mugen one too...Don’t mind price too much.. Already have a Mugen header, 60mm TP and Mugen exhaust, so I’m trying to get a nice intake and eventually get a nice tune.

J's Racing tsuchinoko intake is wet carbon while the Mugen is dry(pre-preg) carbon. Mugen is light years ahead in terms of quality. I would recommend a used Mugen if the new one's price is steering you away.

I wanted to go with Mugen at first, but everywhere seems to be out and, unfortunately, don’t have the luxury of waiting long lead times

Is their really that much of a quality difference between them? Personal experience?

It's not even close. Mugen is WAY nicer.

Alright - duly noted guys. I'd like to size 'em up myself but I'm not necessarily in the market to buy a whole new intake at this point so I'll take your word for it. I'd really like to run the Mugen air filter with Mugen emblazoned on the filter material itself if I can get one... for now I am quite happy with my A'pexi dual funnel filter in stock airbox

Don't bother with J's Racing stuff.

Quality is not good.
