Default Password jdm snorkel question?

looking into getting the pwjdm snorkel for the stock air box. My question is does anyone have this? were there any mods you had to do for fitment? or hood closing problems?? im looking to put this on my 08 S and wanted to make sure it will fit fine with no problems. Also will this work fine with the pwjdm CF airbox lid too? if i decide to get the lid down the road? lmk thanks guys

See ***Official Intake Thread***

Hood cutting may be needed to fit snorkle.
Cant see any reason why it wouldnt work with a CF airbox lid

^ Are you sure about the hood cutting? I was under the impression that one of the benifits of the password jdm snorkle was that you hood does not need to be cut.

you don't have to cut as long as you fit it perfectly.

Also i read that if you have slight fitting issues then the latch needs to be loosened and adjusted... this will solve the problem!
