I'm not privy to the installation of the conversion or the tuning aspect, but I own the vehicle that has the prototype installed and tuned by Gary and his friends at AutoWave in Huntington Beach. So far the maintenance hasn't been much different than prior to the installation. I felt I had to adjust valve lash a few times, but I now know that it runs a little louder due to the more aggressive cams that are in it. I was deployed overseas while it was being installed and tuned in my car, so I'm sorry I can't give too much info on that aspect..

Cheers,
Cliff

As far as I know it is still available to purchase through his website. But, I will try and contact him and let him know that you are interested.

Cheers,

Not totally sure if it will work with 2.4 stroker unless you plan on turbo thus lower compression pistons. Could be some timing issues with the longer stroke. Has anyone tried yet?

Pretty sure you can control the amount of cam advance/retard with the engine management system. Knowing acceptable clearances is the key!

Anyone running series 1 EMS with this kit? And if so are you running a black box with it or was it modified internally?
