Default skunk2 ultra I/M with Pro-Jay 90mm TB

Building a 2.4 liter stroker motor. I have the bottom of engine built, the head on the my current F20 has BC valve springs and stage 2 cams which I will be reusing, and a 70mm ballade sports throttle body with port matched I/M. Does anyone think the Skunk2 manifold and this throttle body (http://pro-jay.store/shop?olsFocus=f...hrottle-bodies) combo will make power? is 90mm to big should I go with the 80mm, save my money and stick with my current setup?

You've gone this far. Don't half ass it. Get ITBs.

I paired my 2.4L stroker short block with a K-series skunk2 ultra race and 80mm K-tuned TB.

See: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-na.../#post24192807

Definitely saw serious improvement over the stock AP1 IM that I port-matched to a skunk2 74mm TB. But I also have an upgraded exhaust (URGE stroker exhaust header, URGE midpipe/"gernpipe" and dual T1R exhaust).

The stage2 cams should get you over 300HP if you enable the 2.4L to breath properly (3.5" intake with quality IM, or ITBs, and exhaust). You don't need 90mm TB, 80mm would suffice (more responsive throttle the smaller you keep it)... Jeff Evans said that my TB upgrade from 74mm to 80mm didn't have any impact and only would help if I upgraded my cams.

If you want to make some serious NA power go with 4piston CNC head, 4piston custom cams and 4piston ITBs. If you want an idea of power check out 06estukay's build thread on here

BTW, not aware of anyone having actually tested the skunk2 F-series ultra race IM yet. There is a guy on youtube (pretty sure he is on s2ki too) who is sloooooowly building toward skunk2 F-series ultra race with K-tuned TB with cams. Like watching grass grow as he shows how to wire the map sensor, IACV etc. His name is Chase Diaz. He does a great job detailing what he is doing and stuff but I just cannot relate to taking months to get the car on the road. I installed my K-series ultra race, new radium fuel rail and FPR, spliced custom wiring (from K-series to F-series harness), ktuned TB, etc in a single sleepless and intense 48 hours one weekend. Anyway, just looked now and he posted part 13 of his youtube build series (he is working on a custom welded intake.. I just used silicone couplers).

What compression are you running? My motor is set up for 11.1-1

Then drive it as slowly as possible and just enough to get the readiness monitors to set. Go get tested then swap back. If I do ITB’s I’m gosure no to have to swap the entire manifold over every 2 years. That just seems like a hassle.

I'm using the CNC Speedshop 2.4L stroker kit with AP2 pistons, which results in 12:1 compression.

There's no problem passing emission inspection with ITB's just need an EMS with OBD support, but I guess you don't have that?
