going NA with itb's, cams, and every na mod possible may get you at 300 whp but not likely.
I'm SO tired of seeing threads like this I want to SCREAM! The truth is that this guy will likely never do any of these mods anyway. If you wanted 300hp you should have bought an EVO or something. If you don't want to fork out the dough, enjoy the S2000 for what it is, not for what you want it to be.

if you do search on autotrader.com in socal area, you will find out a silver amuse GT1 body kit s2000. that car has 270 whp and it's NA. you can e mail him and ask for the mods that he had on his s2000. and then you will be surprised how expensive they are. another big thing is the reliability after those mods. how many miles can they handle?

Do some searching...this question comes up a lot. Short answer...you will need a large stack of cash to make the hp. Probably more than you paid for the car to get to that NA hp.
There are no cams easily available that increase hp.

It's obvious this kid bought a $12,000 MY00 with 100,000 miles. He's not going to have $50,000 to make his car 300whp.

this might not be the answer you want to hear... but the s2000 is made very well from honda.. aftermarket N/A parts are expensive and not really worth it.. Might as well go with a FI setup...
The car has plenty of power but not enough Torque.. you want to make it quicker without adding turbo... Try to make the car lighter.. anything you can do to lighten the car up will definitely feel like horsepower gained...
lotus elise has less power but it would blow are cars away mainly because its lighter.
What you could do...
Take out passenger seat
Cruise control
Spare tire
Tools
Speakers / Radio
Diet

That's about 240 to the wheels on a normally calibrated dynojet...you're still looking at a stroker to make that much. Would you be happy with 260-270 at the flywheel? That's doable with a budget of $3-4k.
