Default What is the most powerful NA S2000 on Pump Gas

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone knows who has the most power naturally aspirated out of our motor with pump gas. I am in the middle of my build and before I got my head ported and my intake manifold expanded I was making 286 whp 231 ft lbs tq on 93 octane. shooting for over 300 in the next couple months and I thought it'd be awesome to have the most powerful NA on pump gas.

And by pump gas I'm referring to 93 octane and below. While e85 is found at pumps it's not readily available all over. While I know there's fluctuating dyno calibrations it will be nice to see some comparisons

There's a couple of racers pushing 290-300 in France, on pump fuel, 2.0L engines.

Do you know what they have to make 290-300 on a 2.0. Is that engine hp or whp? That seems really high for 93 octane for a 2.0

Urge's engine is making 375bhp on texas 93 pump. Their thread is in the N/A section somewhere

Bhp is crank right? That's still very impressive either way

it's my understanding N/A builds overseas(Japan) are going to produce higher numbers due to the higher quality fuel.

sucks for you CA 91 guys

Well I am getting my motor back from InlinePro on the 17th and have a tune scheduled at Evans tuning the 19th so I'm hoping for some better numbers. On 93 oct. Maybe next year I will do different cams and e85. For now I just wanna drive the damn thing!

That's crank, from an engine dyno so very accurate, they're endurance spec though, so they'll do a full season of endurance racing before a refresh, there's probably a bit more in there if they could use more rpms but reliability becomes an issue.
