I've read on other boards that the lips aren't quite as strong as other brands (owners stating their lips bent). I've spoken to the owner and he admits his 3pc wheels' rim hoops aren't as strong as what you'll get if you get his 1pc wheels. Rim hoops do come in different thicknesses, such as Kodiak's, which are thinner and admitted not as strong as those used by Forgeline. Otherwise, no concerns, especially for a track wheel. Tho, the owner of CCW did say he hates assembling the 3pc wheels cuz they're a bizatch to assemble (tolerances).

I should mention, they're a whole lot lighter than I was expecting for a 3 piece wheel. I haven't weighed them yet but I'm guessing barely over 20 pounds. Rears are 18x11.5", fronts are 18x10.5"

I ordered the race classic with full lightening and stainless ARP hardware. Price was just barely over $2k.
