2015 S2K Challenge discussion
So have we spoken to the existing challenge sponsors? Who is staying on for next year?
If we can get a headcount on sponsors and logo assets ill talk to Jay about getting us a price and mock-up for the door magnets.
Also since it was available I registered the domain s2kchallenge.com. Not sure what to do with it just yet but it seemed opportune.

Did you guys meet? If not are you going to? I'm going to be keeping the car so will prep for a class for next year during the off-season (now)
I do want to re-tool a few things to make better use of the points, so there's that.

Aaron is getting back to us on Megan for next year. If Jay can make a sketch with them and the challenge\speedventures logo we can get it to Aaron for approval or changes.
How do we go about redeeming our Megan Racing credits?
I did win something back in March at CVR. I'd like to replace the motor mounts on my now 90K mile s2k.
BTW, anyone have feed back on the Megan Racing mounts? How do they compare to the OEM ones? And, would you use them in your s2k if you were DDing it?

I have them. They work fine as both my stock ones were busted. They are probably as soft as you can get for the street but there is a noticeable difference in idle "feel". Nothing crazy thats for sure. More than welcome to check out my car at the track.
If people want less events, keep the same as this year but make less count. If not, a couple schedule conflicts for participants can screw things up quick

the motor/tranny and diff mounts are great for the street and track...contact walter chen from megan ...he is on facebook
not sure if fewer events would bring people out ...maybe.. also making 6/8 might be rough ... was it the best 8 of 11 events this season?
marketing , photos , awards ceremony and prizes all help attendance ... i think the market is more flooded with norcal 'chrono' series, vtec challenge etc thus thinning out our events a bit ...i guess

I guess the question is will people go to the track and coincidentally sign up for the S2k challenge, or will they choose their track days based on the challenge schedule? I think many in this thread fall into the latter category but we arent the ones we are trying to attract.
Thoughts?
