275mm Wing Mounts
So I've been browsing the internet and asking different places how much a set of 275mm wing mounts would be for my J's wing. I seriously can't believe that they cost $200-$270 for a set. I asked a local CNC shop how much it would be to make 10 sets, and the cost would be $120 per pair. While I thought this was still expensive, having them drawn up on CNC, labor and materials; it all makes sense now (US materials vastly differ from Chinese materials). So here is the question that I pose to you guys in the RC forum.
Is there enough people who would be interested in the J's/Voltex market to have these made?
Has anyone ever tried this wing stands on any other vehicles like 350/370Z's, Integra's, ect.? I'm curious if these types of mounts are the same between all of the center/side mount stands?
Has anyone ever tried out 255/275/355 high wing stands to compare them? I thought that a 275 would serve as a nice cross between everyone.

Greg at GT Motoring gave me a great deal for $125 shipped in hard anodized black. I'll post pics when I get them. My cost would have been about $40 less but that doesn't include shipping costs and would have required me to make 10, all out of my pocket.
My desire was to help the communities and businesses here on S2Ki. I want to build high quality parts without the price gouging of a particular brand. I think GT Motoring is doing a pretty good job, and believe me $30 profit on a set of wing mounts is nothing considering the overhead. I'll be looking to work with a few other companies in expanding my ideas in the near future. Maybe I'll start a thread on it?

We try to do alot of products that others dont, and do them at a resonable price. I always strive to make our parts in the USA when possible as well. I like to support our local businesses here as much as i can too.
