Thumbs up Advice on adjustments for AutoX

Hi all,

I want to improve on tire and handling setup a bit on my AP2. It's been turbo'ed. I really want to make sure I get a nice hookup out of the corners with the power I have on tap. I also would like to get rid of some of the massive oversteer that seems a stock S2k trait.

Right now I'm running Toyo T1R's, 245/40 in the rear, and the stock Bridgestone's in the front, 225/ whatever they are I've been considering running Azeni's, but am open to other suggestions. They need to be streetable because I don't plan on getting a 2nd set of wheels. I was hoping I might be able to find some 265 width tires for rear but I can't seem to find any 265 width tires for 17" wheels.

I also read the FAQ on the sway bar. It looks to me like the Comptech is the ubiquitous standard. Any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Is your suspension currently stock? You might consider the gendron front bar also. It's much easier to come by than the comptech.

Have the Gendron and love it. Looking to get more seat time on street tires before moving up to R compounds. FSB would be great thing to add to your setup.

Thanks.

I had a good conversation with Bill Gendron today and ended up ordering the FSB stiff. So, just need to worry about tires and alignment now. Thanks!

Gendron bar, RE-01R and good alignment sounds like a good start. If you truly want to be competitive you probably need a set of wide wheels and A6 or V710's as well but you're on the right track.
