Tony what made you determine the "correct" install lenght?
By figuring out what alignment ranges the factory eccentric gives you and knowing what range of actuall settings an s2k will want.

...You should install them at the length we shipped them and once installed, tighten the jam nut.....
Supposing one fidgets with the rods when he gets them and looses the shipped length, then what would he do? PLEASE tell us the length....

Set them to the same length as stock, then have your alignment tech adjust as needed.

They came the same lengh as the stock. Just put thm side by side and adjust. You are forgetting that toe will be adjusted with the same stock eccentric washers when aligning.

The alignment tech can undo the bolt on the car side of the rod, drop it out, spin the rod out or in until it is close to where it needs to be, then reinstall the rod and use the eccentric washer to do the fine adjustment. As long as you do an alignment ASAP after making the install, I don't see how it is a big deal what length the rod is installed with.

"About the same as stock" should work as good as anything else.

Guy your tone in your response is un-called for. As I mentioned earlier in this thread I don't check every forum every day. In each of my posts is my direct email and you could have called the shop and had the answer in 30 seconds. There is nothing fishy here, there is no secrets, I don't know what you are alluding to and frankly do not like it. Several people on the forum that have the kit and have installed it have tried to help you yet for some reason you won't listen.

The measurement front the CENTER of the hiem joint to the CENTER of the bushing is 13". This is a starting point, some cars if lowered more than normal may need to change the length at the hiem joint in order to achieve the desired alignment setting.

Guy, if there were only one "right" length, why would they be adjustable at all?
