Just checking to see if anyone was/is involved with Formula SAE. I was a driver for Virginia Tech this past year

 

There is another guy with an S2K here in Charlottesville who was in FSAE when the VT team won it in the early nineties, Garrett Matthews. He comes to the Blue Ridge region autocrosses every once in a while. I was at Tech at the same time he was, but I didn't do FSAE.

Thats awesome. I am tentatively planning on going to Verona. I have season football tickets for VT so I'll be down in Blacksburg on Saturday but I'd love to make a pitstop in Verona on the way back to Charlottesville to destroy a few tires.

If I go this will be my first autocross in a road car. Up until now its been all FSAE cars for me. To be honest with you, the S2000 handles a lot like our formula car last year. Just a whole lot heavier and sluggish. I'd love to see what it can do on a AutoX course...
