Anyone from ap2 go to ap1 steering rack?
Has anyone here gone to the faster rack from an ap1?
I ask because i feel that my rack has some play. If im going in a turn and hit any unevenness in the road, the wheel will jiggle just a bit in my hand. The feeling reminds me of something loose. I had the chance to drive my friends ap1 and his steering is go kart sharp. When i hit the bumps i can just hold the wheel and it wont move. I am not sure if its the bushings on mine or what but i found a ap1 rack for a great deal.

The AP1 steering is silly fast. Even compared to my buddies Elise, my S2ks steering is ultra sharp and responsive. Some times, almost too sharp. I remember one time I sneezed really hard when driving and shook the wheel, which darted the car around!
Considering they went with the AP1 rack for the CR, I would say its a performance increase. The rack speed makes up for some of the lack of feedback. I would say do it.
