Anyone interested in night racing?
Well its not exactly a track event, but there is an auto x next week starting at 8 pm or something like that. I just went to the same place for one last weekend and had a blast. Dying to try it at night now.
Anyone else willing to give up their saturday night for racing? Its going to be a championship.

I did a night autox in the early '80s. Headlights really didn't help much but the lot lights lit it up enough to work as long as you knew the course by walking it.
It was also my first time on real race tires (okay, they were old Firestone race tires and Firestone had been out of racing several tears by then) on my Fiat 850 Sport Coupe. Had just read where this model had a tendency to turn turtle with race tires so I spent an hour thinking "Turn towards the side that's still on the ground! Turn towards the side that's still on the ground!" Damned if I didn't go out there and see the ground coming up at me. Never even thought about what to do - I just did it. And this was at night...
