Yeah it's a vert with the top, trunk, and a bunch of sheet metal removed and the trunk was cut and hinges were added to make it into a tailgate. Then we added a nice tonneau cover for aerodynamics.

And also told me they improved heat dispersion with the SUR4G. Unfortunately the new SUR4G is priced higher than the new Hankook RS4 etc... Thanks for any feedback!!
I had the old Sur4. Slowbaru was mostly autocrossed. No delamination issues there. Sur4 on a full interior, full weight 135i with aero and making somewhere around 500whp, haven't had any chunking or delamination issues yet. We took it to Gingerman and Autobahn so far. I know of one other guy in a S2K running the Sur4, he complained about some edge wear, but no mention of delamination either.

I've got one trackday on my set, and I have another two this weekend. We shall see.

Edge wear is likely a setup issue given the shape of the treadblocks here.

They are doing great, obviously leaves time on the table compared to something like a RA1.

I've now got about three and a quarter hours of track time and 3000mi on the tires and am probably going to be rotating the rears to the front this weekend. I'll measure tread depth when I do this, but wear is very good and even. I think they are a very good deal for the money.

Alright, so I measured the rears today at 4.8-5.0mm tread depth remaining. The internets tells me that new tread depth is 9/32" which is 7.14mm.

I have no idea what this level of wear equates to in other tires, but I'd imagine I'm conservatively just under half way through the life of the rear tires. Not bad, in my opinion.

Anyone have experience with these and the Federal 595 RS-RR? Trying to settle on a cheap 200tw tire.

Can't say about the federal. But I have better lap times on the nexan vs the rs3.
