AP1 Squirely
I was watching a BMI video where they compared the AP1 and AP2. They had mentioned that the AP1 was more unstable than the AP2. They even did an OEM wheel switch out, which did help the AP1 on it's time but it didn't address the unstable issues of the AP1.
What are most of you doing to tune this out? BSK?

The only thing unstable about my AP1 is the driver. The car is fine.
Assuming a stock setup, attention should go to:
- tire pressure
- alignment
- seat time
. . . problem pretty much solved.
From my readings, the BSK can make a world of difference under very specific circumstances, most of them related to tracking the car. On a daily basis the biggest thing a driver can do is get to know the car. It is well documented that the AP1 is more lively than the AP2, whether or not this means the car was broken and needed fixing is a matter of opinion. I suspect the AP1 gets a lot of less-experienced drivers in trouble but does little to hold back a skilled driver. The biggest difference is probably the driver in the middle who will have more confidence and as a result, be faster in the AP2.

in order to keep the back twitchiness under control, the most important component i've seen so far are getting very good shocks.. alignment can tune out some, but not the majority..

in stock trim, the ap1 is unstable unless you have race compounds, then it's more manageable. even if it doesn't slow down an experienced driver much, it doesn't mean that the car is not unstable.. it just means the driver can handle it..
