We had talked to the member here that made the prototypes in ABS in this thread but i dont like the butt joint solution with expoxy for ease of installation or longevity. I think we would have to make it from scratch. I would likely take this on over the winter if we are going to dive in to it from the ground level.

Agree 100%, best of luck!

Maybe you could have ASM do a simple version of their ducts but designed for the AP2 bumper instead? I am sure they would have many interested customers as well.

If asm made one I am sure a copy cat would pop up. This isn't a hard part to make just that I am lazy to make my 2nd prototype

Alil fiberglass and PVC pipe and that's it

If ASM, Amuse, J's, C-West, or any JDM company made one, they'd likely charge $500+ for it... No thanks. These work just fine. At the end of the day, brake ducts in general are a DIY sort of thing. There are kits to make it "look" nice, but nothing that actually makes it easy.

So what I am getting after reading this is... there is no solution for $125-$250. Perhaps I should make a set myself... how many guys are actually willing to purchase a set?

If I remember the duct cost like 20 to make and hosing cost me like 30 bucks. The adapter wAs another 12 so the project is like 70/80 so I think a 150 price tag should be ok. Anything more and it's Alil high. All people really needis the duct itself

Here's some sharing on my setup.

Faux duct was cut to create a big funnel from sheet metal which feeds two pipes, one runs to caliper, another to the rotor. For the rears, a metal funnel feeds 2 pipes as well to rotor and caliper.

Sorry for the iphone pic quality.
