AP2 Brake Ducts
Maybe it is worth considering also designing a secondary piece/duct that would attach to the control arm and direct air to the center of the rotor? You could then run a flexible ducting between the bumper and control arm ducts, or people that want to cut holes into the dust shield directly can just use the bumper ducts. The control arm piece could maybe even split into aiming at the rotor center and also at the caliper?
Hi Guys,
I have been following this thread for a pretty long time and decided to make brake cooling kits for AP2 and if everything goes as planned possibly put it in production. Last night I got around making foam plugs for both sides and I should have the prototype done early next week, and hopefully install them on Alex's s2000 (momofoolio) for I believe Extreme Speed Track Event at BW in couple of weeks. here are some pictures of the foam plug, it can be used with 2.5" diameter ducts. I will update everyone with more pictures as I go.

What about us AP1 guys?
I've just purchased £50 worth of fiberglass and resin so will be giving these a go at the weekend. Doesn't look like it should be too difficult. I'll be using polystyrene to create the shape from duct to 2.5" pipe. Attaching it to the bumper with plenty of packing tape and fibreglassing from the bumper to the pipe. A thick layer of black gel coat should leave a smooth finish inside the duct.
Will be taking loads of pictures so others can do a better job of it :-)
