Think about why more camber helps cornering. Then think again about how camber will affect tire wear.
Enthusiastically driven cars with factory alignments almost invariably wear out the outside shoulders of their tires first.

I have over 19,000 street miles and 140 track miles on my original SO2's and they still look almost brand new, and that's with -2* to -3* front and -3* rear camber since new. Probably good for another 20,000 miles

Speaking of alignment... I'm taking my car in for an "autox" alignment on Tuesday. I've seen anywhere from -1.5 up of camber up front, how much camber can we really get up front? If I get -2 wouldn't that be better than -1.5 or -1.7? Same goes for the rear, try to get the most possible or stay around -2? On '05 what do you guys recommend for toe? Ian S recommend 1/8 toe out front and 0 n the rear.
Thanks for any help!

I typically pay about $100, but that's down from what they charged me when I first started going there.
