Auto-x Alignment Assistance Request
Hey fellas... excellent advice. Thanks.
The BCs are pretty stiff - 10K/10K They may not be the thing for the track - but for autocross they feel pretty good.
Since I don't know *exactly* what my settings are at this point - just eyeballing them I don't think they changed too much from the last alignment. The car is tracking very true - no snap oversteer - pretty neutral IMO.
The rears are wearing on the outsides as well - on both my street tires and the Victos. I've been running pretty low pressures (starting ~29/30) The tires haven't been rolling over beyond the little ^ indicators so I thought that more pressure wouldn't be necessary - but maybe I need to experiment with pressures some more.
The car was lowered with kg/mm springs prior to the coilovers so the drop was similar.
Please keep the advice coming
One of our resident track junkies (jerrypeterson) is running 1.75 neg in the front and has been happy with that...
Since I have a nice company car I rarely use the S2000 for commuting duty so an alignment optimized for autocross won't really be a problem from a tire wear standpoint.
If more isn't necessarialy better - I'll likely go -1.75 -2.4 or -2.5 rear

Yes, the lowering with out toe correction will eat the tires from the inside- primarily from the toe.
RA-1s like a lot of camber. Corner harder to get more even wear with the current alignment.

Well Tony got -2.5 on mine, so take it up with him
BTW, I am lowered ~3/4"

Gots -4 now. Well I will again this week.
Since your car isn't a daily driver, more camber is what you'd want.
The fronts max out around 2 and the rears can go to 2.5-3 (I can't explain why certain S2000's can achieve more camber while others can't).
If you need more rear camber, the new anti-bumpsteer kit may be the solution with a bonus that allows for seperate toe changes. (I'd shoot for a little toe-in)
