Auto-x suspension suggestions.

Which shock/spring setup would work good?. I just don't know what shock to pick, since there are so many choices. I described my setup in hope that someone would have something similar, with a little insight on what works good for auto-x. Again, I've seen many recommendations, but they are usually class specific, and I don't care about the class, just want a good setup. I don't believe I should lower the car on stock shocks, they aren't meant to be driven at that height. Sure they would work, but I'd like a shock that's designed for a lower vehicle, and I would assume there is a better spring rate setup other than stock as well, and I don't know much about spring rates, and what would work good, again, given my list of mods. Thanks again for any insight!

Within reason, until you have a decent amount of experience under your belt, it doesn't matter what equipment you run. I hate it every time I suggest to someone that they try autocrossing, and they reply that they need to go spend thousands of bucks on upgrades first -- they're wrong. Likewise, I roll my eyes every time I see a novice with thousands of bucks in upgrades get beaten by a guy in a ratted out '90s Accord who knows how to drive, blame it on cheating, and never come back.
If you really must change your suspension, just buy something cheap that gives you the drop you want, then drive the heck out of it. Seriously.
