Autocross set up question
Hi,
I am a new member of the family and have some questions about my set up.
I have read the frequently asked q's .
I just bought a 2004 with a set of 16 way adjustable Tein coilovers, and a X brace already on it and I just purchased a set of Hoosiers A6's for the stock wheels 225/44/17 front and 245/40/17 rears It said a front bar is needed but it sounded like the current bars have problems is there any new bars out ? Also what alingment specs do you recomend with those coilovers and Hoosiers. The car will not be a daily driver.
Thanks,
Mickey

Some observations that may or may not apply, since you didn't say what class you want to compete in:
1) The TEIN coilovers will exclude you from Stock category.
2) The X-brace prevents you from running Stock, Street Prepared, and Street Modified.
3) If you aren't competing in Stock, you don't have to use the stock wheels
4) Since you are not running stock springs, your swaybar needs might be different from what's described in the FAQ.
No, there aren't any new swaybar products comparable to the Comptech and the Gendron swaybars. And Comptech is no longer making their swaybar.
