AutoX helmets
I did a little research and ordered this one last week. Should be in in a day or so. Not sure what other more seasoned drivers might think but i like! I was coming down to the wire on my first autocross and didn't like the idea of the loaner helmet...

I bought it here...

Just look online for motorcycle helmet companies. I bought a dirt bike helmet, for the agressive look. Although this is rare, no one has given me any flack. I used my old symbols to decorate it as well.

A good place to look is http://www.accessoryinternational.com
I ordered my HJC helmet from them, and I got pretty good service and response time. If you are planning to stick with autox, make sure to get a Snell 2000 helmet. They'll be good for about 15 years, depending on the club. I went with the HJC LT-20. It is Snell (M) 2000 certified and fairly inexpensive. It is a full face helmet, which I personally feel is safer in an open top car (especially for somebody who's head is taller than the windshield with the helmet on).
Alternatively, you can look into getting a Snell SA 2000 helmet. These helmets are designed for road racing, so have more stringent guidelines and things like fireproofing. For someone who is running track days, not racing, you should be fine in most cases with a M certified helmet (Motorcycle vs. Special Applications, btw).

The prices on HJC helmets look pretty good. How do these compare to some of the other brands in terms of quality? In other words, am I going to be disapointed with one in the long run?
Thanks
Thanks
Got the Beiffe yesterday.
I'm very impressed with the quality and fit. I went ahead and took the SA2000 route just in case I decide to track the car and whats another couplea hundred bucks when were talking about safety!
Oh and http://www.helmetcity.com was a pleasure to deal with to!
