can any one tell me if there is any horsepower to be gained by modifying or disconecting the lev air pump system on my s2000

Is this the electric air pump that only runs for a few seconds when the car starts? If so, then there is no benefit.

Thanks for the feed back guys.As this car will be used for racing only we are keen as to find any little tricks to gain POWER . The rules we are runing by here in Australia are very stricly production based,and the class we compet in includes cars ,wrx.sti evo,V mazda,RX7,twinturbo.So as u can see I need all the help I can get for the S2K.
