Default Back from SCCA School

Absolutely BEAT.
I don't think I have driven on the track for that long in that amount of time.

I know the OTC guys including Dave that was there with me are more used to it.

But after 6 hrs in 3 days on the track I feel like I cant see straight.
I was even having a hard time focusing on the way home. (Ry don't worry I made it back)

As for the School, I have passed and so has Dave.

Both of us did really good and got very encouraging complements from our instructor.
Kinda cool that we were the only S2k's there and we had our own instructor.

Dave broke his drivers rear hub but I am sure he will tell everyone about it.
for some odd reason we had a FULL rear subframe in the trailer that Rylan had me pick up weeks ago....I guess it was nice he didn't take it out yet.
Dave had got it all fixed in about an hour.

anyhow we are officially invited to spend more money than we have and go kick our instructors ass.......well not yet but soon maybe.

Thats all for now I can barely see the fonts.

you should have told dave you returned it bad hubs

Btw did you replace them ever when you had it? I'm curious how old his hubs are.

First race is 3/31-4/1 at sears. I can't wait!

Never replaced them, but I ran skinny rear tires most of the time .

Had no rear bar. Only times I've heard of hub failure are with wide slicks or new 305 RA1's, so I think lateral G's contributes to it. Stickier tires will also increase the shock to hubs on wheel lifts (which I never experience... I'm too gentle). But I'm not an engineer, so guesses .

we've hashed that out in another thread. but the base is that you never replaced them so those hubs were -at least- 2 years old.
