I was just looking for a fan option to put on my S as its turbocharged and I don't want to see 300 degree oil temps at the track. Their fans are pretty well known for being good quality, then I came across this. For what the mishimoto cooler cost, I would expect it to have a fan setup like this one does.

Cooling fans aren't needed on track, if anything they block air flow through the cooler as they pose a restriction. A fan will not spin as fast as the air flowing around the car and through the radiator/oil cooler.

It would help keep oil temps lower when sitting in traffic. Maybe at very low speed tracks as well?

Probably a nice option for transmission and diff cooling for people trying to go full flat undertray since the fans are built in and you could mount this sucker hanging off the rear bumper bar or something similar and not worry about airflow. I'm going to bookmark it for that reason. Those -6AN fittings are lame, though. I wouldn't use this as an engine oil cooler because of inadequate airflow for the application and inadequate fitting size for engine oil pressure.

Edit: Looks like there is a -10AN version that's actually a few bucks cheaper.

Good Setrab cooler mounted in the bumper with good ducting is plenty good for just about anything. If you make your own AN lines and use a Mocal sandwich plate w/ thermostat you shouldnt have temp issues and its not too bad. Think I spent 350ish on mine.

I agree that looks like a good option for a diff, going to save that link. Thanks!
