Well, I tried both. First time out hot temp got up to 40, started with 32. Lowered it down to 36 and drove that way for couple sessions and than lowered to 34. Did not seem to make much difference.
This tires were sliding around a lot compared to NT01 I had on car last month. I did go 4 seconds faster than last time so that may have something to do with it. However most of time drop I think came from brake pads, carbotech I just put on were much better than Hawk I had on last time.
Time to burn out this set of tires and try something else

welcome to the bfg r1, they feel like they're moving all around, but they're a lot faster.

that wasn't the tires. you were very early turning into 9 and very slow to react to the rear moving. if it was the tires letting go you would have been around backwards a lot faster. that was slow and gentle.

btw not sure if it's the camera angle but you seem to be seated pretty far back (your arms look pretty straight to me)

Yea, I was little tighter than usual but I don't go up to the right anyway. I did not expect it to let go that early in the corner, it may look slow but it just went around all sudden, no warning.
I am 6'1" and 210#

I'm thinking the throttle lift and resultant weight transfer after turn-in was what broke rear traction. Man I'd love to drive that track.

It's not about your size. but that if your arms are too straight you're driving with your shoulders not your fore arms and you're losing a lot of input as to what the car is doing. A good test is when you're seated extend your arms forward, You should at least have your wrists on the top of the steering wheel. I like it about 3-4" past my wrists.

Agree, there is little bump there also. Think timing was right and all happen in same time (little late to lift throttle, little tight and bump). Usually it starts moving little later closer to apex, this was way to early.
Krazik, I don't fit this car that good, it is compromise. Either my head is banging in to roof or my knees in steering wheel. What I need is race seat lower down so I can fit better. Or bigger car
