I got the same set of wheels (2 sets actually). My front center rings didn't it right? Do they work on yours?
I'll back up the statement that Honda lug nuts are ball-seat type and most aftermarket wheels are conical-seat. One notable exception is the TR Motorsports stock-sized wheels for the AP2, which have the same size, offset, center bore, and lug nut seat as the stock wheels.
"Acorn" I believe refers to the shape of the top of the nut, indicating a nut with a closed, rounded top like the stock lug nuts, as opposed to an "open" nut where the stud sticks through.

Yup. Inside diameter seems slightly small.

Thanks Orthonormal - I compared the lugs that ship with the TRs to the stock lugs and the seat area and angle looked identical. And looking at the wheel, the lug seat area appears to be the same as the OEMs
I also compared the TR lugs to "tuner" lugs and although the cone is deeper on the tuner, the cone only touches the wheel on the lower portion (tuner lugs were mounted on a Volk wheel, and the seat area marks were approx the same length as the seating area on a stock lug).

The stock lug nuts don't really have an "angle", the mating surface is round when viewed from the side.
Conical seat lug nuts have a mating surface that looks like a straight line when viewed from the side.
