Maybe I think that's hilarious because it's after midnight, but right now I think that's hilarious.

There's actually some tape called "Racer's Tape" that I used to use when I gave a crap about my car's paint. It was thick/padded like duct tape but had low-tack adhesive like painter's tape. Seems like the extra thickness/padding would offer slightly more protection than standard painter's tape. I think it was slightly more expensive than painter's tape, too.

I don't understand. I don't see fitments for S2000s anywhere on that page.

The racers tape I know of is Duct tape but w/ more adhesive/stronger for holding together broken race cars.

I encountered both types on the same day last year. I borrowed half a roll of the cloth low-tack tape from Jeff C (I forgot his forum name on S2kI). Then I found someone selling racer's tape for $6 a roll. That stuff was so sticky and gooey that it left residue on itself as you peeled it off the roll. Jeff told me that the cloth stuff cost closer to $20/roll. It was definitely nice stuff, very flexible fabric that conforms to all the strange shapes of the car. I don't know what to do with the roll of gooey stuff. I really can't think of any good use for it.
