I recently bought one, haven't used it yet. Do you guys with the Motive have any problems with losing pressure when using the Powerbleeder cap on the MC? Other Honda/Acura owners had problems with that in the past.

I also read that Motive improved that cap for our MC, so I'm wondering if there are any problems with the S2K MC cap and if I should pick up 2 additional clamps to make sure the top stays tight.

the universal ones SUCKS! i've tried many times to seal it right and everytime it works for a little and then the liquid will find a way out and start squirting everywhere. horrible. i used it on my bmw where they designed a cap for it and it works great. but unless they have one specifically for our car i dont think i'm going to try it again. its such a pain in the ass

I've found that over tightening is the culprit of leaks. If it's too tight it will pull the sides down and bend the cap.

Yes, but undertightening also does not work. It takes practice to get it just right.

I mostly use it with no fluid, just air. I bleed out the brakes until the fluid comes out pretty clean, and then I just top off the master cylinder reservoir. No fluid spilled.

Why not buy a second Honda MC cap and modify it to work with the power bleeder? I did that with a Fiat cap for my X1/9 and a different brand power bleeder and it worked well, no leaks.
