I do have the Helm manual. I will look at that portion in the morning. Thanks.
My friend's abs light went on same as yours while at a track day, and it wouldn't shut off. Eventually, after driving around the parking lot for a bit, it went off, so Mike's idea should have a good chance of working.

You didn't consult it prior to posting?

No, I assumed it would require some OEM "dealer only" Honda tool. I assumed that the manufacturer doesn't make it very easy to screw around with the ABS system. And you know what happens when you assume.

There are ways to get the trouble codes to display on the dash without using the official Honda testing tool, although the manual does tell you to pull the code with the tool first.

If I did, I'm not sure if this is something that can be repaired / soldered, or if it needs to be replaced.
I have jumped the OBD and used the code flashing for the "Check Engine" light diagnosis. I'm not certain if the ABS codes can be read the same way.

I would advise against repairing it. If it can't be solved just by making sure all the connections are tight, then it's probably best to replace it. But in that case it's definitely worth pulling the code to make sure you are treating the right problem.

I am baffled as to why his reader would show "no codes".
But be sure to read through all the information in the manual and try all the troubleshooting steps you can.
